故事時間點在《白髮魔女》之前 56 年，舞台為大裂縫西側的「埃魯・非爾汀」，描寫艾文兄妹分離又重逢的旅程。由於三章式流程允許玩家自由解支線與探索，被視為卡卡布三部曲中最具沙盒感的篇章。
